Страны, где можно встретить медуз: Индонезия, Малайзия, Таиланд, Филиппины (с апреля по октябрь), Тунис (с конца июля до середины августа).
Что делать при ожоге медузы?
После того, как медуза обожгла Вас, необходимо промыть морской (!!!) водой пораженный участок. Вода не должна быть пресной, так как в этом случае ядовитые жалящие клетки, которые еще не разрушены, усилят свое действие. Сразу же стоит принять антигистаминное средство, чтобы подавить аллергическую реакцию.
Обожженный участок кожи обрабатывают лимонным соком, 3-5% уксусом или гелем с гидрокортизоном. Эти средства сразу уменьшат боль. Если участок поражения внушителен или яд попал на лицо, в глаза, то необходимо как можно быстрее попасть к врачу. Главное, в этом случае описать, как выглядела медуза.
Ни в коем случае нельзя обрабатывать обожженное место спиртосодержащими препаратами, а также йодом, зеленкой, маслом. Воспаление не пройдет, а лишь усилит раздражение.
Как обезопасить себя?
От укусов медуз виндсерфера спасают гидрокостюмы и любая одежда, которая закрывает кожу. Стоит помнить, что лежащая на берегу медуза также может нести в себе опасность. Поэтому брать в руки, наступать не рекомендуется. Ядовитые клетки могут действовать. После шторма не стоит сразу выходить в море. На волнах могут быть обрывки щупалец. В сезон дождей медуз в море максимально много. Поэтому не стоит рисковать.
